Ffmpeg Gui For Mac
Yeah, the AC3 audio is kind of 'problematic'. Be very very nice if the author could kindly update the distribution combo?
Beta Build 3c also uses a very old version of ffmpeg under the covers (which also has a different commandline syntax). Note one later version of ffmpeg seemed to produce 'choppy' MP2 so just a word of caution on that too. Not sure if the AC3 thing is fixed. Also a plea to programmers - please, please no more of that.NET dependency rubbish. Find a way to make it standalone.
I and lots of others refuse to install it (don't ask) and thus have to miss out on otherwise very good software. Hi SI Team & Community Although I am a video guy I know little or nothing about FFmpeg. It was always some kind of obscure tool to convert videos.
That is not me being a tool snob. It is just that when I install a NLE (Non linear Editing) system I usually get lots of GUI encoding tools anyway. If I am not mistaken FFmpeg is basically the engine behind ES video uploads? So maybe this is interesting for any one on a mac? Does this have any implications for Easy Social?

Even if I could pre encode videos they have to be hosted and streamed at the server end right? Does the Easy Social upload have an option to upload a pre-encoded file?
